Save Our Planet

Climate Design is committed to doing its part for our environment.
While older air conditioners use a refrigerant known as R-22, we use the newer R-410A when installing new systems.
Studies have long shown the harmful effect R-22 has on our atmosphere's ozone layer. The US has already banned the use of certain types of freon in vehicle air conditioning systems. Soon, the same will be true regarding home and commercial air conditioning units.
R-410A has been approved by the EPA as safe for the ozone layer. What's more, it can actually cost the consumer less – especially as R-22 supplies dwindle and it becomes harder to obtain.
Naturally, newer air comfort systems run more efficiently than older ones, so they are that much better for the world we live in.
